I am here to help you regain your new identity and sense of self, which in turn will help with some of the challenges you are going through, with a parent first approach. How do I do this?
Compassion first. By deeply listening and being present and caring for you, parent. Honoring you as mother and parent. Stress and uncertainly can lead to burying emotions, swallowing words, and incessant stress reactions causing short- and long-term illness. With me, you will identify your key stressors, albeit breast feeding overwhelm, relationship stress, coping with Pediatrician expectations, autonomy issues, family pressure, financial pressure, etc. and we will craft a solution utilizing mindful empowerment for parents to grow a deeper connection with baby.
Studies show that parental overwhelm is not only unhealthy for the parent, but affects the bonding experience with baby. The first year is so tender for your baby's brain development and emotional health, and can lay the groundwork for their self-esteem, or lack of, in the future. We are in a dangerous trend in our culture of expecting babies to grow up quicker than they are able to. But we can help our babies, and alleviate our own anxiety around parenting, by practicing healthy bonding with our babies.

The Reward...
When we stop measuring how well our children are doing according to whether they're drinking from a cup, crawling, talking, or how they sleep, miracles can happen. One client couldn't get her child to stop pulling on her hair at bedtime. After one session with me, her daughter's attention shifted to playing with her soothie, freeing up the mother to relax, cuddle with baby, and sing.
